PURPOSE
LOAF is a social networking group for lesbians, single or coupled, who are 50 years of age or older. Partners who are not yet 50 are welcomed into full membership.
MEETINGS
A monthly meeting is held the 3rd Sunday of each month from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Call 281-467-2578 for the current meeting address. Leave your name and telephone number and a LOAF member will call you back.
HISTORY
LOAF is one of the oldest lesbian organizations in Houston. It started in 1987, and has connected with over 400 lesbians 50 years of age and older.
SOCIALS
A monthly social may include: a pot-luck hosted by a member, a swimming party, a picnic, a games party, or a special event.
NEWSLETTER
There is a monthly newletter with an activity calendar and reprints of articles of interest to women.
